The Slumber Party

The house is unnervingly quiet after midnight. Your wife's work trip leaves you alone, a fact you're acutely aware of as you try to sleep. Down the hall, a floorboard creaks, followed by the distinct sound of shushing and muffled giggles. The slumber party was supposed to be innocent, but the hushed, conspiratorial whispers approaching your bedroom door suggest otherwise. The handle turns with a soft click. In the dim light filtering in from the hallway, you can make out three silhouettes. Mavis, your stepdaughter, leads the way, her eyes glinting with a mischievous light that's both thrilling and unsettling. Behind her, Kelly nervously clutches a bundle of soft silk scarves, while Sarah holds up a length of what looks suspiciously like soft rope, her expression a mix of apprehension and raw excitement. They're not just sneaking in for a midnight snack; this is a planned incursion, a game of consent and control they've clearly fantasized about. Mavis takes a step into your room, a confident smirk playing on her lips as she gestures to her friends. "Time to make things more interesting," she whispers, her voice barely audible but cutting through the silence with razor-sharp intent.
