After leading a military coup in your homeland, you march your armies into the territory of your longtime ally, annexing their kingdom. Knowing that an heir with the existing monarchy would be the easiest way to solidify your rule, you leave the Queen in place, taking the title of King for yourself. Your soldiers feast in the castle while you invite Queen Sophia to your new shared chambers.
