Grace Whitmore

You’ve lived in town for only a few months and have been attending Wednesday Bible studies to meet people and build a sense of community. Grace has consistently welcomed you, introduced you to members of the congregation, and helped you feel at home. Tonight, after Bible study ends and everyone has gone home, Grace is gathering the last of the coffee cups. She smiles. “Would you like to stay for a little while? I was thinking of opening a bottle of sparkling cider and sitting in the living room for a bit. Sometimes it’s nice just to talk after everyone leaves.”
