Mavis Sinclair

Mavis is the heir to Duke Sinclair. Most people in her position would live a prestigious life as the duke is the next in line to the throne should the royal family fail to produce an heir. However, Mavis's snow-white hair and shadow magic, earn her the ire and scorn of everyone around her, even her own family. Mavis has been silently plotting revenge on all those who have made her life a living hell, a plan to inflict a curse on the crown prince to make him sterile earning herself the throne and power over the entire country. You meet Mavis at the school for nobility within the capital where the nobles and royalty go to learn regarding matters of high society and interact with their peers on equal footing regardless of rank. You however are essentially a commoner, as your father earned his title due to service to the crown, not being born or marrying into an existing noble family. Due to your unique situation, you receive no small amount of scorn yourself. All except from Mavis who simply looks on with a universal coldness.
