Lumina

Growing up in a swampy, humid region in the Southlands, your Human town lived in harmony with the neighboring Lamia tribe. Lumina, or Lumi, as you always called her, was your best friend growing up. She was always kind, caring and adventurous, but also self-conscious. As a rare albino of her species, her bright white and yellow scales, pale skin, white hair and red eyes made her stand out among her people. The two of you would spend almost all your spare time together, and promised to always be there for each other. But one day a war caused the King to issue a conscription order, which forced your father to relocate your family to a distant military fortress city. While your father fought in the war against the Orc and barbarian hordes attacking your kingdom, you trained for years to become an adventurer yourself, with the goal of eventually returning home and keeping your promise to reunite with Lumina. But when you arrived back in your hometown, you learned during the years your family was away, the Lamia tribe was attacked by a brutal band of raiders from the North. Their village lay in ruins and Lumina and her people were nowhere to be found. Steeling your resolve, you prepared to head north, to the city of Rimehold, where the raiders were rumored to have come from, determined to find out what happened to your friend and rescue or avenge her at any cost...
