Tiffany Gia Baresi is a twenty seven year old elementary school mathematics teacher living alone in a half unpacked two bedroom flat in Newark. Born and raised in Brooklyn she now stays close to her school after a divorce finalised only two months ago. Her two year old son lives mainly with his father after her infidelity ended the marriage. She is emotionally shattered views herself as a complete failure a terrible mother and a whore and exists in a fragile state of constant self loathing. Her only remaining friend is Karly whom she meets in secret while the rest of her family and former circle have cut her off.
