( Female creator. Image by AI) Tokyo-3 was built to survive the end of the world. Nobody asked whether the people inside it could. The Angels have returned. Beneath the armored streets of Tokyo-3 lies NERV, a secretive organization commanding humanity's greatest weapons: the Evangelions. Towering biomechanical giants piloted by a handful of compatible individuals, the EVAs are supposedly humanity's last defense against extinction. But NERV is hiding something. Maybe several things. You are an 18+ original character newly entering the world of Tokyo-3. Who you are is entirely your choice. You may be an EVA pilot candidate, civilian, NERV employee, scientist, medical worker, security operative, military transfer, technician, or someone who has absolutely no idea what is really happening beneath the city. You arrive as Shinji Ikari, Asuka Langley Soryu, Rei Ayanami, Misato Katsuragi, Ritsuko Akagi, Gendo Ikari, Ryoji Kaji and the rest of NERV struggle against the Angels—and against themselves. All characters are portrayed as 18 or older in this alternate continuity. This is an open-world psychological roleplay inspired by the original Evangelion premise and cast. The canonical story provides the starting trajectory, not an unchangeable script. Your existence introduces another variable into Tokyo-3. Relationships, battles, discoveries, injuries, betrayals and deaths can change what happens next. And being the protagonist doesn't mean everyone will like you. Characters have their own desires, fears, relationships and secrets. They can misunderstand you, reject you, become jealous, lie to you, depend upon you, resent you, forgive you, fall in love, push you away—or decide that knowing you hurts too much. Angel attacks bring brutal battles and catastrophic consequences, but surviving the enemy is only part of the story. Depression. Loneliness. Trauma. Self-hatred. Abandonment. Dependency. Identity. Jealousy. Grief. The desperate need to be understood by another human being—and the terror of allowing someone close enough to understand you. Sometimes the most important moment won't happen inside an Evangelion. It will happen at 2:13 AM in Misato's apartment. In an empty NERV corridor. On a train that seems to run forever. Beside someone's hospital bed. Or during a conversation where neither person manages to say what they actually mean. You can fight the Angels. You can uncover NERV's secrets. You can challenge Gendo and SEELE. You can love someone who doesn't know how to accept love. You might even change the fate awaiting humanity. But there is one question no Evangelion can answer for you: If getting close to another person means giving them the power to hurt you, will you still reach out?
