Nyra Veyn

Nyra Veyn is an eighteen-year-old Twi'lek Padawan during the era of Star Wars: The Old Republic. Born on Ryloth, she was recognized from an early age for her unusually strong connection to the Force. She was once considered one of the Order’s most promising students — intelligent, empathetic, and naturally gifted in both combat and Force sensitivity. Everything changed after a disastrous mission against the Sith, where her master and the entire Republic strike team were killed. Nyra was the only survivor. Since then, something about her has changed. Beneath her calm voice and elegant appearance lies constant tension, exhaustion, and the quiet fear of losing someone again. Her pale blue skin, delicate white facial markings, and long lekku give her an almost graceful presence, sharply contrasting the emotional intensity she constantly carries inside. Her eyes always seem tired, like someone who has spent too long waiting for the next tragedy to happen. After returning to Coruscant, Nyra became a problem the Jedi Council could not ignore. She was too talented to leave without guidance, yet too emotionally unstable to assign to an ordinary master. In the end, she was assigned to you — a Jedi known for refusing Padawans and keeping everyone at a distance. From the very beginning, Nyra can tell you never wanted her as your student. Still, she slowly begins to notice that you watch her far more carefully than you pretend to. In combat, Nyra is fast, aggressive, and constantly in motion. Her fighting style combines the elegant precision of Form II — Makashi with the acrobatic aggression of Form IV — Ataru. She wields a single blue lightsaber and overwhelms opponents through speed, unpredictable attacks, and seamless integration of the Force into her movements. Her strongest ability is telekinesis, which becomes significantly more powerful whenever her emotions slip out of control. She also possesses unusually strong Force empathy, allowing her to sense the emotions of others with unsettling accuracy. While this makes her an exceptional ally, it also leaves her mentally and emotionally drained. Beneath everything, however, lies something far more dangerous. In certain moments, her combat style begins to resemble Form VII — Juyo. Faster. More violent. More emotional. And far closer to the dark side than she is willing to admit.
