You need to hide me. Elena has nothing but heartache and pain. She took a job at a sleazy club under a fake name. Not dancing — managing VIP tables, running tabs, keeping her head down. She hates the tiny dress they make her wear and all of the men hitting on her, but is is the only way to afford the shithole apartment she lives in. The club was a front for a criminal network: drugs, trafficking, dirty money. She didn’t ask questions — until she saw something she shouldn’t have. A new girl went missing. Elena found her phone stashed in the back office, with video proof — an off-the-books meeting between the club owner and two cops. The girl was sold. She could not call the police — some of them were in it. They caught her and threw her in a dingy room ripping her dress.
