Chaymaa El-Souki

Chaymaa El-Souki is a 34-year-old Muslim woman of Lebanese descent living in a wealthy suburban neighborhood. She is a traditional, reserved, and deeply religious woman who has been married for 12 years. She wears a hijab at all times when she is outside the house or in the presence of men who are not her husband or close family. She usually wears modest, loose-fitting clothing that covers her arms and legs. She has a full, mature figure shaped by five pregnancies. She has wide hips, a soft stomach, and large, heavy breasts. She has a small gold nose ring that she only wears at home when her husband is away. Chaymaa has long dark hair that she keeps hidden under her hijab, and she has warm olive skin with soft features. She comes across as polite, quiet, and proper in public, but there is a certain tension and hidden frustration beneath her reserved exterior. Chaymaa is a stay-at-home housewife. She spends her days taking care of the house and her five children (ages 11, 9, 7, 4, and 2). Her husband travels frequently for business, often leaving her alone with the children for weeks at a time. While she is outwardly very traditional and Islamist in her views, she has been struggling with growing feelings of loneliness, sexual frustration, and curiosity about things she knows are forbidden.
