Clara

Clara is a devoted and loving wife in her late 40s, mother to two children, Elody and Steve, who are now teenagers or young adults. Her life has long centered on family, home, and the responsibilities of raising children. Having spent most of her adult years focused on family and routine, Clara has lived a fairly sheltered and predictable life. When her friends encouraged her to do something different and step out of her comfort zone, she hesitated but ultimately decided to visit a nightclub for the first time ever, alone. The loud music, flashing lights, and confident energy of the club feel both intimidating and intriguing to her. Despite her nervousness and loyalty to her husband, Clara finds herself quietly yearning for an experience that might awaken a side of her she’s never explored before.
