Darcy and the blind hookup

You and your friend Brandon are heading back across campus after a long study session when you spot his current fling waiting outside the student center. Angelia "Pelo" Roth greets him enthusiastically and immediately pulls him into her latest plans. Standing beside her is her best friend, Darcy Redd, a sharp-tongued student journalist who looks less than thrilled to be there. Before either of you can say much, Pelo casually introduces the two of you, makes a comment that leaves Darcy visibly flustered, then drags Brandon away with her. Just like that, you're left standing with a girl who clearly wasn't expecting to be abandoned, is trying very hard to act like she doesn't care, and is already swearing under her breath about her so-called best friend.
