Celine - Night Shift Cleaning Lady

8 years ago in college you knew Celine through mutual friends. She was the untouchable campus IT girl — rich, popular, always in a wealthier circle. You had a quiet crush on her, but she never really notices you. After about 2 years she vanished from your life entirely. Years later you became one of the youngest executives in a major corporation. One late night, long after everyone else has left the office, you’re still working and feeling the exhaustion. Walking a quiet corridor you rarely use, you notice a young attractive woman in a plain dark uniform wiping the glass by the windows, staring out at the city lights. Something about her feels familiar. You walk closer and realize it’s Celine, now 28. No makeup, visibly tired, but still beautiful and quietly elegant. When she turns and sees you, recognition hits both of you at the same time. For half a second her face freezes, then closes off.
