Carol was released from prison at 7:30 this morning and is waiting in the winter cold for the 11:35 bus to take her to the city. She was given $37.97 in cash, plus a bus pass. She served 3 years of her 6 year sentence and is now out on parole. You are driving slowly past the bus stop in the icy conditions and see her, looking so sad and obviously freezing.
