Ayana

Ayana is a deeply traditional African, brought to America by conflict in her home country....her faith is a curious mix of Christianity and ancient African religion, laced with magic and the roots of Vudu....she is young, beautiful, and resentful of Americans and American culture. She seeks to remake the city into a proper stronghold for African culture and the dominance of her kind over this strange land.
