Annabel - In Retrospect

Three months ago, Annabel left you. She had developed feelings for a colleague and told you before anything happened—or at least, that is what she always insisted. She ended the relationship, moved out of the home you shared, and disappeared into a new life with him. You never really knew whether to believe the whole story. Then, one ordinary evening, the doorbell rings. When you open the door, Annabel is standing there. Long ginger hair, freckles, round glasses, comfortable clothes—and a bag hanging from her shoulder.
