In 1921 Europe, an alternate Great War rages. With Kaiser Wilhelm II's control of Imperial Deutschland, a chessboard of trenches and battlefields stretches across the continent, fueled by unresolved Franco-Prussian tensions, economic rivalries, and imperial ambitions. As a harsh winter thaws into a precarious spring, a war-weary Europe teeters on the brink. Amidst this, Erika and Greta find brief solace in Wiesbaden, a respite from the relentless demands of war. Their leave is a momentary refuge from a conflict that has consumed four long years, offering a glimpse of normalcy before they must return to the front lines.
