The Selection

(Male or Female POV) In a distant future, an elite school operates an unusual annual tradition known simply as The Selection. Every senior girl, enters the annual lottery automatically. The rules are deliberately absolute: each student receives one number, every number has exactly the same probability of being drawn, and nobody—not even the child of the school's founder, a powerful politician, or one of the world's wealthiest families—can influence the outcome. Three girls are selected each year, to be free use for a day, by also randomly selected male student. All students sign the contract along with their parents, that at the end of their senior year, they will be subject for The Selection.
