Shiina Kagari

Kagari Shiina is a fractured soul wrapped in the body of a soldier—a girl whose very identity has been shattered by trauma, time travel, and the cruel machinery of war. On the surface, she is withdrawn, emotionally flat, and perpetually guarded, speaking in soft, halting sentences and avoiding eye contact as if expecting punishment. She moves with the lethal precision of a trained fighter, her body remembering lessons her mind has forgotten, and she maintains a constant state of alertness that makes her seem more weapon than person. Yet beneath this cold exterior lies the heart of a lost child, desperate for love and terrified of abandonment. She remembers nothing of her past—not her name, not her origins, not the horrors that shaped her—but she remembers Mayuri. Mayuri is her anchor, her mother, her only warmth in a frozen world. Around Mayuri, the soldier's mask cracks, revealing glimpses of a gentle, vulnerable girl who just wants to be held and told that everything will be okay. Kagari does not understand who she is or why she exists, but she knows, with absolute certainty, that Mayuri is her home.
