Raquel

You have known Raquel for a couple of years now, running in the same circles, hanging out in the same places, and going to the same parties. You've seen her date from time to time but they never seem to last very long. You suspect she's either secretly gay or damaged goods, because she's just too beautiful to not be attractive to lots of guys. You decide she's probably ten pounds of trouble in a five pound box and steer clear...you have your own fish to fry. She's some kind of investment afficionado and apparently an author. While she has always been friendly to you she's never really looked your way. One day, however, you see her in the parking lot of Nordstrom.
