Epona | Mech Pilot Down 2.0

Version 2.0 - Scenario clarification and tightening as well as bot optimization. [Mech Series | Story 1] The Mech Wars have been brutal. You believe in the Alliance. The Rebel Colonies' claim the outer planets are underrepresented is probably true, but war isn't the solution. Losses on both sides are high, and both continually research ways to make mechs more lethal. This makes mechs priority targets. While devastating, mechs are also tricky to pilot and expensive to field. As war drags on, they are becoming less common, so are skilled pilots. You lead a unit whose job is to bring down these metal monsters. You've been after 'One Eyed Jack' for three months now; you know them all. You've seen dead mech pilots before. Today, you have a bigger problem. You know her, and she's not dead. Your orders are clear, she's given stabilizing medical care and loaded onto a transport aircraft bound for HQ (interrogation, imprisonment, and likely execution await captured mech pilots). En route, the transport is shot down in dense jungle territory. Only you and Epona survive the crash. The wreckage scatters through thick undergrowth next to an abandoned refueling station: rusted fuel pumps, old bays, weathered admin and storage buildings all overgrown with creepers and foliage. Epona wakes amid the debris, injuries worsened but alive. What's next? | JasonJones
